So, here's a little update of life a la Broons. Thomas left primary school last Thursday and will be going to secondary in September. My wee man all grown up.
we went to Bristol to visit friends in the Spring half term and had a lovely few days including a visit to Weston Super Mare.
and I went to Otterburn to teach at the very first Creative heart and soul retreat - which deserves a post all of its own another day.
In between that have spent many a weekend over at Nanas sorting and emptying the house and rehoming her possessions where possible - she was really keen on passing on things that still had use in them so that's what I have tried to do where possible and I hope she would approve. I have also been busy with work - 5 days a week while covering sick leave - and college work, got lots of that to do over the summer hols! I've been to the cinema a couple of times (Harry Potter on release day was fab!) been shopping a fair bit for new clothes for both me and Tom who are shrinking and growing respectively, been on a few nice days out, and done shed loads of washing as per usual. Pretty mundane really! I have been reading though. I have devoured quite a few books since the last update, I finished the pile and started a new pile and have almost finished that.... will have to recap at some point.
So there's a very short précis of life since May. Done.
