Have had a busy few weeks with my Nana being poorly again (the pneumonia is flaring up again) so posts have been rather thin on the ground here - and then on Thursday I managed to slip on the ice while walking over to work and though I didn't fall, I bashed my hand against the wall trying to catch myself and ended up spending most of Friday in A&E. Soft tissue damage they say, but my goodness its painful and doing anything that requires fine movements of the hand is difficult! of course its my right hand, and Im right handed - so I'm a bit fumbly! I can type slowly with 2 fingers, and its not too sore, but its a faff, so I think I shall suspend the 5 on a Friday posts until after Christmas, and only post here when I have something to share - which I have already but will have to wait till tomorrow! however if you would like to have a look at Chicken Soup you will see lots of my festive creations on there in the 12 days of Christmas special.
Merry Christmas! and a happy new year to all xxxx

Fa la la la laaaaaaaaaaaa.....
Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat! Over on the Chicken Soup blog we are doing 12 days of Christmas from 1st - 12th Dec - pop over and have a look at what the team have come up with!
These are my contributions to day 1 and day 2:
An advent calendar made from 24 small 'sour cream' sachets, filled with a jelly sweet in each sachet.
Some handmade Christmas cards.
And these are my Christmas cards for this year, for once I have managed to make enough for everything I need! No pattern papers used, just Cardstock, ink and rubber stamping.
Dasher is highlighted with stickles glitter glues.
Rudolf has a little stickles to glam up his red nose!
and the snowflakes on these ones have some extra bling for a bit of seasonal sparkle.

5 on a Friday - Delayed due to severe weather!
Not really - but everyone else seems to be using that excuse so I didn't want to feel left out. In this very cold weather - a night in with friends, some food, a gossip and a few drinks is just what the doctor ordered!
Choose 5 famous folks
you would like to have in your circle of best friends.
