This is my take on the recipe, which sort of went off on a bit of a tangent! I used the general divided areas of the flag as inspiration for the grid in the middle, the distressed look inspired me to distress all the edges of the paper, I incorporated lettering and metal elements, and of course a flag is fabric - so I stitched on the layout.
Originally I was using a red white and blue colour theme but that sort of mutated to include green and Kraft.... and this is what I ended up with!
